Students will enhance their knowledge of traditional and business related legal research sources at both the federal and state levels. Students will choose a desired practice area and jurisdiction, and, based on selections, students will be assigned a company or an organization as their client. Throughout the course, students will conduct practice area specific research in the following areas: client background and development; litigation preparation; business and industry trends; federal and state legislative history; and federal and state regulatory history.
